4.4 Intonation styles
The Danhild VARIO has four intonation styles:
Romantic (ROM), Symphonic (SYM), Baroque (BAR) and Historic (HIS).
Select an intonation style, ROM, SYM, BAR or HIS in the menu, see Intonation § 4.9.1.
When you have pressed ENTER the chosen Intonation will become the default by next Switch on.
4.5 Registers
The registers are activated via tab switches or capture memory locations.
The lamp in the register switch lights up, when the associated register is active.
The registers are divided into three groups:
Pedal: Activates the registers associated with Pedal division (Green buttons).
Great: Activates the registers associated with Great division (Grey buttons).
Swell: Activates the registers associated with Swell division (Blue buttons).
4.6 Couplers
Manual coupler:
Swell - Great: All registers chosen on the Swell will be played on the Great.
Pedal couplers:
Great - Pedal: All registers chosen on the Great will be played on the Pedal (P + I).
Swell - Pedal: All registers chosen on the Swell will be played on the Pedal (P + II).
Manual Bass:
Couples the Pedal monophonic to the Great. Only the lowest key that is played on
the Great is coupled from the Pedal to the Great.
Activate the Manual Bass with the MANUAL BASS button. (MB)
If only the lowest tone of a chord is released, the pedal tone activated by the
Manual Bass function is dropped until a new lowest tone is played.
This should prevent the bass tones from "jumping".
4.7 Accessories
Chorus (CH):
Chorus is a function for lightly detuning the registers to give it a broader and
livelier sound. Use the CH button to activate the Chorus.
Recall / Reset function (0):
The 0 button cancels registration in two ways:
1. A short press on the 0 button: Only the last change is cancelled.
2. A long press on the 0 button: All registers in the current registrations are cancelled.
